We’re on the hunt for a reliable, detail-oriented Office Operations Manager to become an essential part of our growing team. In this role, you’ll be leading the front office staff of four, playing an integral role in ensuring our customers are taken care of.

Candidates must possess prior supervisory/managerial experience in an office environment over people.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Follows/participates in EOS strategies
- Participates and contributes to all functions of the Leadership Team
- Continuously delegates appropriate tasks to team members
- Creates a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere
- Maintains a positive attitude in front of staff
- Utilizes EOS strategies to support Leadership Team initiatives
- Contributes to the refinement of the company's long-term vision
- Oversees the safeguarding of shipping operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security and safety procedures and protocols including enforcement of steel toe and safety glasses policy
- Ensures the completion of freight shipments by overseeing the processing and loading of orders. (verifying: BOLs, correct pallets being loaded, paperwork being handled correctly)
- Maintains an organized & clean work environment in Shipping City (inside and out), pallet area (finished and unfinished), main warehouse dumpster area and outfield
- Responsible for the maintenance of the main warehouse fenceline (weeding, etc.)
- Recognizes employees with verbal “ataboys” as necessary with minimum frequency of every 2 weeks
- Enforces PCI policies & procedures
- Accountable for the proper opening of the warehouse
- Oversees the preparation of shipping orders and staging shipments as needed - delegate to Shipping Specialist as needed
- Oversees shipping camera and pics including transfer of pics to computer and regularly audits process and orders - delegate to Shipping Specialist as needed
- Reviews paperwork and photos from pallet and box shipping orders and signs off on them - delegate to Shipping Specialist as needed
- Executes pickup day; coordinates employees to handle pickup versus shipping on those days; oversees the prepping and shutting down of bays for pickup day
- Assists with the execution of on-site pickup days, transport days and staging of transported items at warehouse
- Keeps everyone moving and redistributes workforce when there are too many assigned to one task
- Delegates warehouse previews as needed
- Maintains forklifts with preventative maintenance and arranging for repairs as needed
- Assists in maintenance of facilities and assets by accomplishing necessary maintenance, repairs and upgrades
- Monitors and reorders shipping supplies as necessary from eBay (through owner), Phoenix and Uline
- Fills in for Warehouse Manager when needed
- Coordinates schedule regarding lateness and call offs with direct reports
- Handles Quarterly Conversations with direct reports
- Maintains shipping staff results by retraining, coaching, monitoring, and appraising task results
- Completes the training and auditing as it relates to shipping
- Maintains high customer service expectations among team members; monitor results with customers to ensure performance is meeting expectations; correct/improve performance gaps and/or issues, co-handles any customer issue and follows proper procedures for lost and damaged items
- Assesses business conditions, evaluates emerging business needs (e.g., seasonality, promotion events) and takes action to address opportunities to improve service, reduce costs and/or generate incremental revenue to enhance operational results across the distribution system as it relates to the warehouse and jobs
- Informs/recommends any personnel suggestions, issues, etc. to the Integrator
- Handles the execution of special projects needed at the warehouse
- Contributes to all ops functions as needed
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and taking on additional tasks as needed
- Ensures adequate and complete coverage for time sensitive tasks when out of the office

Work Schedule
Monday through Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm
Salary
$50,000 annually
