Position: Full-Time Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Training: Initial training on 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) then shift moves to 9:00AM - 5:00PM
Your Role:
As an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our manufacturing equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues with equipment and facilities.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Installation & Relocation: Install and relocate presses and other machinery as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and manage computer programs for audits and documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members to address equipment concerns and provide technical guidance.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and offer advice on major facility modifications.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman papers or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems (AC and DC currents) and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read wire diagrams and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Welding experience is a plus.
Skills & Qualities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in machining and mechanical tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a positive attitude under pressure.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working on your feet for extended periods.
